Patung Pangeran Kornel yang sedang bersalaman menggunakan tangan kirinya dengan H.W Daendles sebagai sebuah simbol perlawanan terhadap kebijakan "Rodi" Daendles dalam membuat jalan raya pos yang mengakibatkan banyaknya korban jiwa yang jatuh dari masyarakat Sumedang.
A statue of Prince Kornel and H.W Daendels in Cadas Pangeran. Prince Kornel, the former regent of Sumedang (1791-1828), uses the handshake with his left hand to refuse what Daendles has done to his people in constructing "The Great Post Road" or De Groote Postweg or La Grande Route, as Daendels called the road project. This monument was built as a symbol of the Prince Kornel's spirit against colonialism.
